We’re looking for an Events & Marketing Executive to lead the planning and execution of standout events, from owned initiatives to third-party conferences, that engage our audiences and reflect our brand. The Role Online and in-person events play a key role in our strategy to reach and engage our target audiences. From supporting our Client Management team with hospitality to underpin our renewals program, managing our presence at a key third party event such as HR forum to supporting the sales team with regional and partnership initiatives the role is full of variety. The Events and Marketing Executive will work alongside the Marketing Managers to develop an integrated online and in-person events programme that utilises a mix of “owned” experiences and third-party conferences and events. With a focus on maximising the value of everything we do, you’ll be constantly thinking about how you can make the best use of material across the online and in-person arenas. At the heart of the role is owning the delivery of our regional event programme. Starting with an event a week and scaling further this will be your passion project. You’ll take ownership of every aspect of event planning and execution, working closely with our internal team; marketing, sales, and service delivery to ensure each event aligns with its purpose and achieves the best results. Building strong relationships will be a big part of your day-to-day, whether it’s collaborating with colleagues or partnering with industry experts, venues, and organisers. You’ll also be hands-on during events, overseeing every detail to make sure everything runs smoothly, with some travel adding to the adventure. Plus, you’ll play a key role in measuring success by analysing event results, ensuring leads are captured in our CRM, and helping us follow up effectively to maximise the commercial impact. What You’ll Bring Our ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on creating impactful events and has experience managing a mix of owned events and third-party conferences, ideally in a B2B environment. You’ll be confident leading multiple small to medium-scale events and roadshows, but your expertise goes beyond just in-person event management; you’ll be an expert in running the surrounding campaign activities to maximise every opportunity. Solid experience with CRM tools like Pardot and Salesforce will set you up for success, and your creative flair will help ensure WorkNest events stand out and reflect our brand. You’ll love collaborating with others, as excellent communication skills are key to working with internal teams and external partners. Staying organised, managing your time effectively, and keeping an eye on the details will come naturally to you, even when juggling multiple tasks.
