Responsibilities
1. Efficient unloading, handling, and storage of delivered material
2. Inspection of materials to agreed quality parameters
3. Ensuring correct storage both inside and outside with proper location of materials and adherence to any special instructions
4. Verifying Mill certification with steel delivery – correct cast numbers
5. Correct identification and marking of material with a unique traceability number
6. Completing paperwork and submitting to the Purchasing Department
7. Sorting and feeding production with materials according to production plans, including assisting with maneuvering materials onto and off machines, either by crane or manually
8. Providing assistance in the Laser Department during downtime beyond the above functions
About You
1. Recent/relevant experience in a manufacturing goods-in or warehouse environment
2. Valid and current Fork Lift Truck Licence – Counterbalance Licence B2
3. Slinging and lifting skills
4. Collaborative working style
5. Flexibility to adjust to workload priorities
6. Strong communication and motivational skills
7. Physical stamina for manual movement of materials
8. Proficient in using warehouse/manufacturing technology and computer-based operating systems
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week, with shifts from 0600-1400, 1400-2200, and 2200-0600
