Joining the founding team at PayGood.com means stepping into a builder’s role where you will be responsible for leading the product from zero to one. As a founder, you will:
* Own the Mission: Take full accountability for the development, growth, and operational success of PayGood.
* Strategize and Execute: Define the vision and drive execution to deliver a best-in-class fintech product. Understand customer needs, analyze market opportunities, and lead the charge in turning ideas into impactful solutions.
* Focus on Customers: Engage directly with users to address their pain points, ensuring the product meets their evolving needs. Build trust and maintain open communication with stakeholders.
* Collaborate and Solve Problems: Partner with engineers and other team members to overcome technical and operational challenges, ensuring seamless product functionality and integration.
* Navigate Ambiguity: Lead with resilience and adaptability, taking on the challenges of early-stage growth with creativity and resourcefulness.
About the Role:
We're seeking a customer-obsessed Senior Front-End Engineer to craft an intuitive, seamless, and visually stunning user experience for our whitelabeled fintech product. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement a unified interface that connects with various APIs and systems, ensuring users experience simplicity and reliability.
Responsibilities:
* Build responsive, high-performance web interfaces for our fintech portal.
* Parse and integrate data from multiple APIs into a unified, intuitive user experience.
* Collaborate with backend engineers and product managers to address unique customer needs, such as split payments and usage-based billing.
* Work with CRMs like Salesforce and payment provider APIs to ensure smooth system integration (typically via backend integrations).
* Troubleshoot and resolve user pain points by jumping on calls with stakeholders when needed.
* Develop SDKs for external developers to integrate with and extend our platform, including creating abstraction layers and custom features on top of existing SDKs.
* Participate in on-call rotations embodying an operational mindset.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in front-end development using frameworks like React and React-based frameworks like Next.js.
* Experience with UI libraries like Tailwind CSS.
* A proven track record of creating customer-focused solutions.
* Experience with complex fintech, payments, or CRM integrations is a plus.
* Experience with on-call rotations and operating services.
* Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with automated test suites covering unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
* Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with customers directly.
* Experience building and maintaining SDKs for external developers, including wrapping existing SDKs to provide additional functionality.
