For nearly 20 years, Youth Moves has been dedicated to helping young people in Bristol reach their full potential. The charity focuses on developing confidence and essential skills in individuals aged 8-19, paving the way for future success and wellbeing. At Youth Moves, they inspire and encourage young people to live their best lives. They strive to create a safe environment where they can be themselves, be happy, have fun, grow, and gain confidence. They ensure that young people have a voice and that it is heard, they currently work with approximately 1,000 young people annually, but this number is set to increase to 4-5,000 with the opening of our new Youth Zone, 224, next year. 224 is a collaborative project between Youth Moves and the national charity OnSide. This new state-of-the-art centre will help young people discover their passion and purpose. With incredible facilities and a team of skilled and dedicated youth workers, 224 will support young people from diverse backgrounds to thrive. We are seeking a Philanthropy Manager to work closely with OnSide - OnSide's network includes 22 Youth Zones that are either open or under construction, including 224. All are founded with major donor support from local individuals and corporations contributing to their Founder Patron campaign. As Philanthropy Manager, you will: Develop and manage a pipeline of potential individual and corporate supporters. Provide high-quality stewardship to Founder Patrons to maximize gift retention, inspiring donors to fulfill their pledges and extend support beyond their initial timeframe. Collaborate with the fundraising team and wider Youth Zone staff to implement successful income generation strategies. Build strong working relationships with colleagues and leaders across Youth Moves and OnSide. We are looking for ambitious and motivated individuals with experience managing senior stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate may not necessarily come from a fundraising background; a proven track record in building strong relationships with corporate clients is equally valuable. They should have experience securing funding from high-net-worth individuals or possess transferable skills in business development, senior account management, or sales. The Philanthropy Manager will be a resilient and determined individual who delivers exceptional results through innovative approaches.
