Join our dynamic team in Salford as an Electronic Assembler and Trainer! In this exciting role, you will primarily serve as an IPC Trainer, responsible for maintaining your IPC certification while providing essential training to our workforce on key IPC qualifications. Initially, you will focus on the IPC-A-610 standard and IPC-A-7711. Be a part of our diverse team and help elevate our training standards!
Key Responsibilities
* Uphold your own IPC training level and recertification.
* Deliver training to necessary team members on IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-7711.
* Once trained, provide cover for operational roles up to and including test.
* Keep up to date with changing standards in relation to IPC.
* Review process training materials to improve their efficacy.
* Be involved with new product introduction to ensure best practice is followed.
* Promote the “Right First Time” ethos, ensuring quality checks and tests are performed.
* Promote continuous improvement activity wherever possible.
What You Need to Succeed
* A minimum of 2 years Manufacturing/Engineering/electrical experience, gained within multi skilled environment, or through previous skilled experience
* Accredited IPC Trainer (IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-7711)
* Experience using SMT chip resistors/capacitors, SOTS, SOIC's and Thru-hole components to a Class 3 standard
* Ability to effectively problem solve and diagnose faults
* Must be comfortable training others and delivering presentations
* Strong communication and people skills
* Computer literate and confident using MS Excel
