Recycling manufacturing company supplying packaging material to the food industry requires a Logistics Coordinator to support the site Superintendent with onsite logistics operations including; health and safety, finished goods, warehouse activities, raw material, weighbridge and yard operations, material handling equipment, site housekeeping, check all shipments in and out, CRM cases, TMS payroll, Stock control and SAP systems, AIM truck agreements, shunting, loading/shipment handling.
Candidate requirements:
* Substantial experience in a logistics operations role
* Stock take / management of raw material / finished product
* Qualification in a logistics orientated subject
* Health and Safety knowledge
* Effective task planning and time management
* Leadership capability
* Self motivated, calm, resilient and commited to self-development
Responsibilities:
Ensure and maintain all:
* Stocks both onsite and offsite
* Check all shipments in and out
* Payroll, shift cover and holidays logistics
* CRM – customer complaints system
* TMS/Autostore/SAP systems
* Maintain all rewinds/stock transfers
* Control of hauliers when on site and address issues
* Inspection for verification on trailer integrity
Finished Product deliveries to Customer:
* Management Logistics Office when Superintendent is away
* Product supply issues, onsite haulier issues
* Liaising with Production Planners or Mill Production team
* Transport arrangement via scheduling of loading / delivery times with use of mill business systems
* Ensuring on time deliveries, accurate load specifications
* Maximising OTIF, load transport weights, ensuring load safety and quality standards
Finished Goods / Packaging Warehouse / Materials Yard / Weighbridge:
Supervision and management of Warehouse Operators when required
Health and Safety procedures are maintained
Accurate receipt and storage of materials from production
Ensuring quality standards are maintained
Stock control, integrity and corrections
Management of customer complaints / returns when required
Support management of third party contractors for warehouse activities when superintendent is away
Ensure Housekeeping standards are maintained
Management of mill business systems when required
Materials Handling Equipment management and fault reporting
