Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, Ferndown, Competitive Salary Purpose As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards while delivering exceptional customer service. As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, your hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. There is no weekend or work over Bank Holidays. You’ll receive 28 days holiday, plus time off over Christmas. A benefit to this role is being able to use the workshop for personal use around your working hours. As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, your responsibilities will include: Perform routine servicing, advanced diagnostics, and repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, and other key systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance and reliability. Conduct MOT inspections in compliance with regulations, assessing emissions, brakes, lights, and overall roadworthiness with precision and care. Efficiently diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, addressing complex challenges with onboard systems to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, ensuring tools are well-maintained and health and safety standards are upheld. The ideal Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester will possess: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. A valid class MOT testing licence and a full UK driving licence. Interested?
