Multi Sports Coach - Royal Tunbridge Wells Do you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of others? Fusion Lifestyle is seeking a compassionate and experienced Multi Sports Coach to lead our innovative dementia-friendly sports program. This rewarding role will involve delivering engaging and inclusive sessions to individuals living with dementia at Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre (Fusion), with potential expansion to The Weald Sports Centre in Cranbrook. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging multi-sports sessions, including activities such as table tennis, cardio wall, indoor bowls, badminton, short tennis, and basic circuit training. Adapt activities to meet the diverse needs and abilities of participants with dementia, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation, builds confidence, and promotes social interaction. Work collaboratively with Age UK Tunbridge Wells staff and volunteers to support program delivery. Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and feedback. Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the program. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Relevant sports coaching qualifications (e.g., UK Coaching Level 2 or equivalent) Experience working with adults with disabilities or long-term health conditions (desirable) Understanding of the challenges and needs of individuals living with dementia Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Experience working in a community-based setting Qualifications in exercise referral or health-related exercise Dementia Friends training To be Successful in this Role: You will need experience of working with individuals with diverse needs and the ability to adapt your coaching style to meet their specific requirements.
