Are you looking for a Presales Solution Lead position? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IBM focused Data Center, Data and AI pre-sales consultant to join our Computacenter UK Team. We are looking to grow our solutions team within Data Center & Hybrid and Cloud & Apps technologies, with an exceptional Presales Solution Lead. As a Presales Solution Lead (IBM) you will be responsible for working alongside our Solution Sales Specialists to help customers select technologies and access Computacenter professional services to build lasting trusted advisor relationships with some of the world’s largest customers. You will be the principle technical champion for the IBM vendor ecosystem, helping your Computacenter colleagues qualify and position technologies and associated services from IBM.
What you’ll do
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build IBM capabilities into our solutions and services, contributing to the overall strategy and service development.
2. Stay abreast of the latest developments in IBM’s Storage, AI, machine learning, and current technologies, applying new techniques and tools to solve challenging problems.
3. Work independently, and alongside our Solution Sales Specialists and Account Managers to identify, qualify and progress complex transformation opportunities in the fields for IBM Storage & Software.
4. Help position IBM technologies alongside Computacenter’s core catalogue of professional services.
5. Build lasting relationships with key stakeholders at identified customers, becoming a trusted advisor on technical strategy.
6. Understand and be an expert internally for our core go to market propositions and advocate for these amongst the sales community.
7. Good presentation and documentation skills.
8. Provide technical leadership and mentorship in areas of expertise, including guiding junior team members and participating in knowledge-sharing activities.
Secondary Responsibilities and Opportunities
1. Represent Computacenter at partner boards and forums, attend relevant events and conferences and act as a point of technical escalation within the business, ensuring that this knowledge is shared across the business.
2. Engage within a broad virtual team across Computacenter comprising Professional Services, Group Managed Services, Solution Leaders and Architects to help customers access and procure key technology solutions and services.
3. Providing Proposition and market insight to the Solution Sales Specialist within customer opportunities for both new and core Solutions.
4. Develop an understanding of our customers challenges and requirements and ensure that these are relayed into our development programme in order that our solutions address these needs and go to Market remains up to date and compelling.
5. Work in conjunction with marketing teams to ensure technical and solution collateral is translated into customer messaging.
6. Attend Customer opportunity/strategy meetings to understand and articulate business and technical strategy for both Computacenter and the customer.
7. Providing Proposition and Market insight to the Specialist within customer opportunities for both new and core Solutions.
8. Support the development and maintenance of Sales Enablement collateral and training for each solution developed.
9. Support all elements of the sales force (Sector Sales, Specialist Sales) in understanding of our solutions via education, enablement and collateral as required.
What you'll need
1. Previous experience in owning customer relationships from a technology perspective.
2. Experience in creating compelling innovative customer solutions & identify commercial opportunities within our customers.
3. Experience with helping customers procure professional services offerings, alongside technology solutions.
4. Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of AI, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning frameworks.
5. Edge, Datacenter, and cloud architectural knowledge and use cases relating to Data and AI.
6. Experience in developing and deploying AI models in production environments, preferably on IBM platforms.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
8. Strong client facing, communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. Proven Pre Sales and delivery experience in enterprise data and AI technologies.
