We are looking to recruit highly motivated individual to join our acute medical admissions team on the Discharge Lounge at the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital (NSECH).. The team provide high standard and safe care to all the patients, suffering from acute medical illness.
The successful candidate will have exemplary communication skills and will be highly motivated. The discharge lounge comprises of 15 beds and 4 chair spaces and specialises in the ongoing journey of patients moving to different specialities within the organisation and those transitioning to home or community based care.
Whilst experience would be an advantage full training will be provided .We work closely with all members of the MDT to provide a full holistic approach to patient care.

• Candidate must demonstrate a compassion and caring towards their patients and able to deliver high standard of care. One must possess a good communication and organisational skills.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours to meet the service needs of our patients which includes, weekends and night shifts. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable .

• Undertakes a range of delegated clinical care duties in hospital, community, and other settings.
• Records patient observations and changes to patient clinical conditions
• Carries out limited clinical care duties.
