An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join our thriving property company based in Sale, Manchester.
The successful candidate will be someone who is hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable. You must be a good communicator, leader and able to use your own initiative. You will have excellent IT and excel skills and will have had previous experience in a similar role managing a team.
Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for all general accounts tasks relating to the Client Accounts, including but not limited to:
1. Preparing and reviewing financial reports
2. Manipulating large amounts of data and interrogating variances
3. Account reconciliations across multiple platforms
4. Maintaining relationships with contractors and being their main point of contact
5. Leading, supervising and mentoring the wider team
6. Leading client account audits
7. Seeking continuous improvement in processes and procedures
8. Ensuring accuracy of work and adherence to deadlines
9. Assisting other members of staff with ad hoc tasks when necessary
