Head of Marketing Business Partner MS (f/m/d)
As the Head of Marketing Business Partner MS, you partner with the CEO and BL managers to establish marketing strategies that help to achieve the respective business goals. This role demands leadership, strategic thinking, familiarity with the related TÜV SÜD business, and stakeholder management skills to navigate the matrix environment and drive marketing excellence. Acting as the bridge between the division and the regions, you ensure consistency and alignment of divisional and regional priorities for marketing. You lead, manage, and develop a team of divisional and regional business partners, providing coaching and guidance to drive performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing: Partner the BU with strategic marketing insights through an understanding of the industry, our divisional business model, competitors, and customers. Provide the business with marketing consultancy to validate business opportunities and define a holistic and data-driven marketing strategy and plan with initiatives that align with the business priorities, revenue targets, and market expansion goals. Offer comprehensive advice and reporting on all marketing activities.
2. Market & Customer Insights: Leverage market data, customer insights, and competitor analysis to advise and create impactful product marketing strategies including positioning and messaging, as well as go-to-market plans.
3. Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy for globally relevant focus topics, including value propositions and customer personas, cascading to relevant markets through the Regional Business Partners.
4. Global Market Activation & Campaign Execution: Develop content and campaigns for activation in key focus markets, translating internal inputs into a compelling communication strategy. Work closely with the Digital Marketing CoE and the Creative & Publishing Hub to deliver high-performing marketing campaigns.
5. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Drive performance-focused campaigns, regularly tracking key metrics and reporting their impact to BU Management. Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives to ensure continuous improvement.
6. Team Management: Lead the Marketing Business Partners for MS. Ensure a detailed understanding of the topics and business cases to effectively integrate regional insights into the global strategy.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including the Digital Marketing CoE, the Creative & Publishing Hub, Sales, and other departments.
Minimum Requirements
1. University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
2. At least five years of experience in B2B and B2C marketing, business partnering, strategic planning, product marketing, or similar roles in a global environment.
3. At least two years of experience in successfully managing stakeholders in a technical business environment. Leadership experience is an advantage.
4. Strong professional written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of German is an advantage but not a requirement. Strong communication skills to adapt messages and strategies to cultural nuances, ensuring effectiveness across different markets.
5. Knowledge of digital marketing principles, technologies, and analytics to optimize engagement and conversion through digital channels.
6. The candidate should be confident, resourceful, self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable.
7. Proven ability to work in an international business environment.
