Your new company A leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Surrey Your new role Your role will be varied and will include a mixture of payroll & bookkeeping with duties including: Preparing payroll for our clientsAccurately input payroll data into the payroll softwareDeducting tax and national insurance paymentsCalculate Statutory Maternity Pay, Shared Parental Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay and Statutory Sick PayProcessing holiday, sick and maternity pay and expensesIssuing P45's and other tax formsDealing with HMRCAuto enrolment pension deductionsGeneral bookkeeping for clients using Xero, Sage & QuickBooksMaintaining accurate records and managing deadlines efficientlyAssisting with VAT returns and other compliance requirementsProviding support to clients with Xero and other accounting softwareAssisting with Management Accounts What you'll need to succeed You will have proven payroll and bookkeeping experience as well as excellent communication and IT skills.
