Service Engineer (Capital Equipment)
£35,000 - £45,000 DOE

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 8-5 (Times are flexible)
Winner Recruitments are currently working with a family-run maintenance company who are looking to recruit a skilled Maintenance Engineer to perform pre-planned preventative and reactive maintenance on cleaning equipment, ensuring optimal performance, longevity, and safety. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing various cleaning machines, including floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, and other specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:
1. Travel around the M25 and perform regular maintenance and repairs on cleaning equipment, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues.
2. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and proactively address them to prevent equipment downtime.
3. Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment components such as motors, pumps, brushes, batteries, and other mechanical/electrical parts.
4. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks.
5. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards while performing maintenance tasks.
6. Collaborate with equipment operators to understand issues, provide training on basic troubleshooting, and recommend operational best practices.
7. Order and manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and other maintenance-related supplies.
8. Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding the proper use and handling of cleaning equipment.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Hold a relevant qualification in Electrics e.g. NVQ/City and Guilds Electrical Engineering & 18th Edition.
2. Experience working on similar equipment involving motors such as vending machines or coffee machines.
3. Good technical knowledge and solid technical skills in troubleshooting, planned maintenance, and reactive maintenance.
4. Good communication skills as you will be client-facing.
