Our client based in Rossendale are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy team.
Duties include:
1. Managing and maintaining the purchase ledger
2. Working with multiple currencies
3. Processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices and purchase orders
4. Setting up new suppliers and maintaining existing account details within the purchase ledger
5. Resolving price queries
6. Reconciling all supplier statements
7. Managing and maintaining the accounts payable inbox dealing with all queries
8. Processing staff expense claims
9. Processing BACS payments
10. Preparing bank reconciliations
Previous purchase ledger experience is essential for this role, as is being a good communicator, having a high attention to detail, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
