As an Enterprise Account Manager for AWS India, your responsibilities will include building and driving the strategy to increase adoption, and market penetration in Financial Services accounts (NBFCs, Insurance, Banks or Capital Markets companies) in India to build long-term business and marketing opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a business development/sales background that enables them to engage at all levels of a customer and partner organisations, including C-levels of the business and IT.
Key job responsibilities
1. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key companies at the C-levels of Business & IT.
2. Deeply understand Financial Services industry, the customer specific business challenges and craft compelling solution propositions to position to customers.
3. Ability to understand business problems and craft solutions that technology & cloud can solve effectively.
4. Work closely with the Channels team to ensure that AWS India is the partner's preferred cloud computing platform across all service lines. Build relationships with regional and national partners.
5. Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports.
6. Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
7. Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (on-premise) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
8. Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.
9. Ensure customer satisfaction.
10. Good exposure to working with Enterprises in south.
11. Good verbal and written communication skills.
12. Engage & earn trust of senior business stakeholders including CXOs.
A day in the life
1. Research and preparation for the day’s customer meetings and calls.
2. Collaborate with Cross functional teams on pitches, solutions & proposals.
3. Customer meeting(s) and customer cadence calls.
4. Stakeholder mapping.
5. Engage stakeholders across business & IT.
6. Ensure high standards and maintain SFDC hygiene.
7. Ensure timely communication with External and Internal stakeholders.
8. Constantly engage and maintain communication with both existing and new customers.
9. Manage time between customer engagements, Business development activities and customer issues.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. This team responsible for the Financial Services vertical is chartered to drive revenue, adoption, and growth from enterprise-level customers. The team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Master's degree or equivalent.
* 8 - 12 years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Exposure in selling to Enterprises in Southern India.
* Some experience in selling to the Financial Services Industry is preferred but not mandatory.
