Key Responsibilities: Routine Inspections & Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of lift systems to ensure optimal performance. Fault Diagnosis & Repairs: Identify and diagnose faults, carrying out necessary repairs to maintain safe and functional lift operations. Emergency Breakdown Response: Attend emergency breakdowns and provide rapid resolution on-site to minimise downtime. Lift Installations & Set-Up: Install and configure new lifts, lifting mechanisms, and lift shafts according to specifications. Client Demonstrations: Provide demonstrations of new lift equipment to clients, showcasing its features and benefits. Lift Refurbishment: Refurbish or replace lift interiors, including flooring, panels, displays, communication systems, buttons, and lighting. Record Keeping: Keep both manual and digital records of work completed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all lift systems and installations comply with health and safety standards and regulations. Risk Assessment & Documentation: Produce detailed risk assessments, along with the necessary legal and insurance documentation. Required Qualifications and Skills: NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent qualification) is essential. Full UK Driving Licence is required, as the role involves travel between sites. Proven experience in lift installations, repairs, and maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills
