As the HHRP Enabling Works Project Manager – Staff Accommodation, you will play a crucial role in managing the planning and delivery of temporary and permanent staff accommodation for the new hospital development. This includes overseeing the demolition of existing facilities and constructing new accommodation units, ensuring the smooth integration of services and minimal disruption to hospital operations. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring the programme is delivered on time, within budget, and meets high standards of safety, sustainability, and quality. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Lead the construction and commercial delivery of staff accommodation projects, ensuring alignment with NHS sustainability and Net Zero targets. Operational Oversight: Manage the end-to-end construction of 60-bed modular units, from demolition to handover, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Programme Management: Develop and implement comprehensive delivery plans, including timelines, risk management, and quality assurance processes. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all stages of the project. Financial Management: Manage the project budget of approximately £50m, ensuring best value for money and adherence to financial regulations. Who We’re Looking For: We are seeking a highly experienced project manager with a proven track record in managing large-scale capital projects, ideally within healthcare or a public sector environment. You will have experience with business case development, governance processes, and a collaborative approach to working with partner organisations. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project success.
