Human Resources Assistant
Rainworth, Nottinghamshire
Up to £30,000 DOE plus full CIPD sponsorship
Monday to Friday role 40 hours per week
We are supporting a forward-thinking organisation based on the outskirts of Mansfield with the recruitment of a Human Resources Assistant, this is a new position and has been created as part of the company’s succession planning for the future. Reporting to the HR Manager you will be assisting with the full 360 HR service within a fast-paced environment. Recruiting the right people is an integral part of our client’s growth plans, they are a profitable and expanding business that can offer you job security, training and ongoing development. They have ambitious plans to continue to grow the business and understand that investing in new personnel is key to their success. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career further in HR, you will have gained a couple of years with a general HR role, have your CIPD level 3 and be looking for the next step in your career.
Responsibilities for the Human Resources Assistant
* Collaborate with hiring managers to write vacancy adverts for current openings
* Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social media networks
* Co-ordinate and manage training records on Time and Attendance System and organise refresher and liaise with management on refresher training
* Interview candidates during various hiring stages
* Raising offers of employment, taking up references and setting up HR files
* Analyse turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs, also collating data
* General HR administration including payroll enquires, attending disciplinary meeting and giving advice when required
* Maintain our presence on social media platforms
Skills and experience required for the Human Resources Assistant
* The successful candidate will have a couple of years within HR with their CIPD level 3 looking for that next step
* Previous experience of working within a SME would be helpful ideally about 200 employees
* Literate and numerate with excellent communication skills
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to use database systems
* Well organised, with a focus on attention to detail
* Flexible, self-motivated and a good team player
