Humanities Teacher

Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time
Salary Scale: £150 - £200 per day (Depending on experience)
GSL Education are seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to join a vibrant school in Rotherham. This role is ideal for individuals committed to educational excellence and the holistic development of their pupils. The successful candidate will deliver a comprehensive Humanities curriculum that engages and motivates students with a strong focus on fostering critical thinking, curiosity, and respect for diverse cultures and perspectives.
As a Humanities Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, adapt teaching styles to accommodate diverse learning needs, and ensure a safe, inclusive classroom environment. You’ll be responsible for assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
Responsibilities of a Humanities Teacher:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Humanities lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Monitor and assess students’ progress, offering timely feedback.
* Cultivate an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and uphold school values.
* Actively contribute to the safeguarding and pastoral care of students.
Qualifications for a Humanities Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in Humanities or a related discipline.
* Strong classroom management skills with an inclusive teaching approach.
* Excellent communication skills and adaptability.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.
