Role: Accounts Assistant Role
Location: Corby
Hours a week: 20 hours to suit your personal needs
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Accounts Assistant administrator to join our clients Finance team on a part-time basis in Corby.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Administrative tasks: Answering incoming calls, updating service records, and correspondence.
2. Financial record keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of purchase invoices, reconciling statements, entering staff expenses onto Oracle NetSuite.
3. Credit control: Assisting with credit control and chasing debt.
4. Liaising with others: Communicating with clients, suppliers, and third-party providers.
5. Updating documentation: Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
6. Any other Ad-hoc administrative duties.
Person Specification:
1. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in accounting.
2. An organised approach to work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to complete tasks in a time-efficient manner.
3. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
4. Good working knowledge of MS Office and a good understanding of ERP (Oracle NetSuite desirable) systems whilst having the ability to pick up technology quickly.
5. Able to work to tight deadlines.
6. Self-starter, confident, and a good team player.
The position will report directly to the Management Accountant. This is a temp to permanent position; 20 hours per week flexible to suit your personal needs.
