Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a year 4 teacher to work in a school in the Camborne area to begin next term. You will need to have experience with behaviour management, be confident with the primary curriculum and have great communication skills. You will need to be able to work as a team as you will need to work alongside the teaching assistants within your class and give them the daily plans. You will also need to monitor students progress and provide them with extra support, whether this being some one-to-one sessions with you or the teaching assistant spending some extra time with them on topics which they are particularly struggling with.
The school are looking for an individual who can be flexible. Though you will be working within year 4 they are looking for somebody who can work across other classes also if assistance elsewhere is required. The ideal candidate will be confident when going into new classes and be able to quickly build good relationships with students. You will be expected to be organised to ensure you stay up to date with marking, planning and review meetings. You will be required to communicate with the SENCO, the headteacher and parents on what levels the students are working at and if you have any concerns.
