We have an excitingopportunity for a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker or a candidate that would bewilling to work towards a Band 3, to join our team in Devizes, for 20 hours and30 minutes a week.
Here at WiltshireHealth and Care we are very excited to announce the development and expansionof our community services in line with the NHS Long Term Plan and a number ofstrategic priorities for community health services to transform our out ofhospital care. We are boosting the response capacity within the existingcommunity teams to provide a dedicated resource across each of our localitieswithin Wiltshire.
This growth withinour services incorporates a consistent 2-hour crisis response element to ourcommunity services with appropriate skill mix of staff to support our currentservices across 12 hours (08:00 to 20:00) 7 days a week. We are also extendingour services to provide nursing cover 24 -7 in the community by developing anovernight element which will provide a much-needed service to our patientsacross Wiltshire. Overnight nursing shift times are 20:15 07:45.
Main duties of the job

Working for us willprovide you with the opportunity to be part of an experienced team, working ina busy environment, supporting a registered nurse. You will be a strong teamplayer, excellent communicator who is adaptable, committed, organised and ableto work under pressure. You will support the development, implementation, andmaintenance of high quality safe and sustainable clinical and operationalleadership under the direction of the team managers and clinical lead.
The work will behighly rewarding, the successful will support effective nursing interventionsin patients homes and other community settings, supporting the prevention ofhospital admissions and working with the 2 hour crisis response service. Therole is varied and interesting, providing support to many patients with complexneeds with a timely response to unplanned referrals.
