As a Chef at Elysium Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing high-quality culinary services to our patients and staff. This role requires a strong focus on food safety, quality control, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
2. Maintain good food storage procedures and stock rotation according to established protocols.
3. Prepare, plan, and cook meals to a consistently high standard, taking into account special requests and dietary requirements.
4. Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
5. Assist with menu planning, costing, ordering, stock control, and budget management.
Requirements:
* 18 years or older.
* GCSE or equivalent English.
* City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 (or equivalent) Basic Food Preparation Cooking.
* Basic Food Hygiene (essential).
* Intermediate Food Hygiene (desirable).
* Previous experience in a similar environment.
* Previous experience in delivering a service on a large scale.
