About us
Oxfordshire County Council’s Highway Agreements Team is at the leading edge of place making, overseeing the creation of thriving communities through the delivery of sustainable, high quality highway infrastructure. The team is involved in all aspects of the construction of new development highway and alterations to existing highway, from the planning stages, through technical checks, construction and all the way to final adoption. We are a dynamic team, who work closely with each other in a very supportive, progressive, and dynamic environment.
About the role
If successful, you will be heavily involved in the progressing of proposals for highway agreements from planning permission to completion. You will work alongside a team of Engineers to ensure that new road layouts and changes to existing roads designs, are in compliance with the council’s standards as well as appropriate contemporary urban design standards.
About you
You will be highly motivated, with a keen eye for detail and strong sense of customer focus, delivering the best possible experience to our stakeholders, customers and partners. You will be a good motivator and mentor for your team, providing quality advice and guidance, based on sound knowledge and experience. You will be qualified with a Civil Engineering Level 4 Higher National Certificate or have experience working within a similar role.
