Job Description
A successful Business Development Manager will:
1. Identify and secure new business opportunities in flooring across the trade/construction market.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
4. Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to potential clients.
5. Understand market trends and competitor behaviour to inform sales strategies.
6. Conduct regular client meetings to discuss their requirements and provide suitable property options.
7. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns.
8. Attend property industry events to network and generate leads.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
1. A solid educational background in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven track record in a sales role selling in the flooring industry.
3. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. A proactive approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
