Work alongside the Lepe Country Park Rangers with daily activities such as site maintenance, wildlife surveys, practical conservation tasks, public engagement, and event management. The position will run from July-September. If you enjoy being outdoors whatever the weather, and are interested in gaining experience in the conservation sector, then we would like to hear from you. You’ll be helping our Rainforest Restoration Team to remove invasive rhododendron from the Isle of Carna. The small, 600-acre uninhabited island offers a rich tapestry of habitats and landscapes for you to explore. Time: Minimum two weeks, preferably four weeks. Join our Rewilding and Rural Skills Volunteer Days at Embercombe. We meet the 1st Tuesday of the month to help care for our land, learn new skills and make new friends. Tasks include nature recovery and rewilding work, stewarding the land and creating beautiful spaces. Workdays are from 09:30 to 16:00 with breaks for lunch and hot drinks.
