DSFS Limited are looking for a dynamic enthusiastic E-Procurement and Data Analyst to join the Procurement team to deliver taking the lead for analysis of procurement related data, our purchase to pay and e-procurement system development as well as the development of catalogue management functions to drive down cost and drive QUALITY of performance up.
Main duties of the job
Analyse and Research Data
Analyse spend data to:
1. Predict future spend patterns
2. Research and identify contractual leakage
3. Evaluate the reasons why invoices are not being paid on time
4. Produce information and offer advice regarding benchmarking and product switching
5. Assist in the delivery of standardisation and rationalisation of stock across the Trust
Analyse and research data to deliver:
1. Year on year improvements in cost, whilst maintaining quality
2. Addition of relevant new catalogue items
3. Improvements in relation to supplier management

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
1. Data Analyst Apprenticeship (Level 4) or equivalent
2. ECDL or equivalent experience
3. Excel advanced training
4. Project Management Prince 2 Foundation
5. ILM Level 4 or equivalent
6. Experience and knowledge of SQL
7. Advanced level (or equivalent) qualifications in mathematics, ICT, statistics, or economics
Experience
1. Significant experience of working with data, and using data to make business intelligent decisions and improve services
2. Experience of working with Procurement or Finance IT systems in large, complex organisations
3. Experience of liaising and working with suppliers to improve data exchange and efficiency
4. Experience of working customers in a large, complex organisation
5. Significant experience of using Excel; PowerPoint, Word and other packages to generate reports and to present data and information
6. Significant experience in a customer service environment
7. Extensive experience and use of Procure to Pay Systems
8. Significant demonstrable experience of using data to review spend; usage; and generate reports to identify cost saving opportunities and improve procurement performance
9. Extensive use of Microsoft packages
10. Working knowledge of the NHS
11. Management/supervisory experience
12. Coaching and mentoring experience

Skills and Knowledge
1. Knowledge of administrative procedures, including specialised procurement IT systems
2. Knowledge of electronic catalogue development

4. Track record of building successful and robust professional relationships to deliver cost improvements and other procurement related efficiencies
5. The ability to analyse complex data and make recommendations in relation to spend reduction, contract management; catalogue expansion; and demonstrate compliance with OJEU and other Procurement legislation
