Job overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Safeguarding Secretary to join our busy safeguarding team.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role.
As an apprentice within RDaSH, you will gain experience, learn work-related skills, and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative support service to the RDaSH Safeguarding Team.
The post holder must have proven administration experience and be used to working in a fast-paced environment.
The post holder will undertake a variety of duties including minute taking, completing work from a shared inbox, reporting, dealing with day-to-day queries, and other administration tasks, with support from the Senior Safeguarding Secretary and the Safeguarding Administration Assistant.
The post is 30 hours part-time and a permanent position.

Qualifications
1. English and Maths at level 2 or equivalent (GCSE 9-4 or A*-C or functional skills level 2)
2. NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a related subject
3. NVQ level 3 in a related subject or willingness to undertake a relevant Level 3 Apprenticeship
