Responsibilities
1. Ensure that the final customer product is correctly packaged and labelled.
2. Perform in-line Quality Control inspections to maintain adherence to quality standards.
3. Work in cleanrooms wearing PPE to minimise human DNA touchpoints.
4. Operate various manual and automated equipment in the production process.
5. Actively participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency or productivity, using the PPI (Practical Process Improvement) business system to consistently elevate team performance.
6. Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all individuals entering production areas.
7. Manage cross-functional collaboration closely, working with teams such as Engineering and Material Handling.
8. Complete documentation in accordance with GDP standards.
9. Some manual handling and prolonged standing may be required.
Requirements
1. Degree in Life Science, Engineering or related field.
2. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided.
3. Previous experience in a Clean Room setting is advantageous.
4. Must show proactive abilities and work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
This role is an initial 12-month contract paying the hourly equivalent to £23,400 pa. There is a possibility to go permanent upon completion.
