The Role:
We're looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This is a crucial client-facing role where you'll be the primary point of contact for our clients while actively generating new business opportunities.
What you'll do:
* Drive self-generated lead acquisition through outbound prospecting
* Identify and connect with potential clients across various channels
* Manage and nurture ongoing client relationships
* Present to clients - from initial pitches to project updates and strategy recommendations
* Act as the bridge between our clients and our technical teams
* Ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered on time
* Spot opportunities for account growth and upselling
* Monitor project profitability and client satisfaction
Minimum Qualifications:
* Proven track record in proactive lead generation and business development
* 3 - 5 year background in sales and/or marketing
* Experience managing client relationships in an agency or similar environment
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients
* Excellent project management abilities
* Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
* Good understanding of digital marketing, web design, and SEO fundamentals
