Protocol are recruiting on behalf of their partner, a further education college in Blackburn, for a Temporary Work Place Assessor in Early Years. Role Overview: As a Work Place Assessor in Early Years, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting students in their work-based learning within Early Years settings. This temporary role is covering sickness leave, and you will be expected to conduct assessments, monitor progress, and provide feedback to ensure the learners are meeting the required standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct workplace assessments for Early Years learners to ensure they meet the required standards. Provide guidance and support to learners during their assessments. Offer feedback and constructive advice to help learners progress. Maintain accurate records of assessment outcomes and learner progress. Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure the learners' development is on track. Ensure the quality and integrity of the training program is maintained. Required Qualifications: Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential) TAQA or equivalent assessor qualification (essential) A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential) Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within an Early Years setting. Ideal Candidate: Passionate about Early Years education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and support learners. Organised and able to manage multiple assessments. Flexible and able to adapt to varying learner needs. Additional Information: This role is for a temporary period of 3-4 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. The working hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.
