Job Summary
Security Agents control aircraft access and aircraft ramp access, check ID’s of the staff who want to go on board aircraft and verify that all personnel requiring access have the right to board aircraft to prevent any unauthorized entry. Additionally, the security agent verifies that all persons gaining ramp access have the right to service the aircraft.
Job Responsibilities
1. Do not leave the aircraft unattended at any time
2. Check ID cards of staff wanting to go on board aircraft or ramp
3. Ensure that any staff approaching the aircraft are in possession of and wearing ID cards
4. Ensure that all required documents are filled out correctly
5. Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor/manager
6. Comply with all UK/Ireland/EU legislation as well as airport authority and carrier security requirements
7. Comply with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
8. Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all times
9. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Competencies
1. Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays)
2. Good spoken and written English skills
3. Ability to travel to the airport at times when public transport is not available
4. Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply a flexible approach when required
5. Willingness to work in inclement weather
6. Previous experience working in an aviation environment is desired
7. Ability to speak additional languages is desired
8. Full UK driving license is ideal

3. Proof of address (bank statement, utility bill, or full driving license)
4. 5 years’ work/education history with no gaps
5. CRC/GSAT will be required
6. CTC Clearance (residence in the UK for at least 3 years)
