Sr. Program Manager, Quick Commerce S&OP, GSF
Amazon Now (Quick Commerce) Supply Chain Team is looking for an experienced S&OP Planner with a proven track record of managing complex supply chains and building planning systems and processes. The incumbent will be responsible for building planning tools and processes, writing S&OP playbooks, and conceptualizing innovative solutions to drive planning accuracy across miles.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging data to provide actionable insights, focused on delivering consistent results, and experienced in driving execution in a cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, making high-velocity decisions, working with senior stakeholders across teams, and relish working with large transactional volumes while navigating highly complex and frequently ambiguous business contexts.
Key job responsibilities:
1. Design S&OP processes, forecasting and planning tools, and drive continuous improvement.
2. Analyze complex data, demand trends, customer behavior, and operational insights to learn quickly and improve planning accuracy.
3. Own S&OP performance metrics and build programs and capabilities to drive them at scale.
4. Partner with upstream teams to decide on peak strategy inputs, get leadership sign-offs on debate topics, coordinate timelines across various stakeholders managing dependencies, publish plans timely across teams, and maintain a consistent and smooth information flow.
5. Lead leadership reviews and programs pertaining to S&OP.
6. Work effectively with a wide set of stakeholders to gather inputs, insights, and influence changes to raise the bar on planning processes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
- Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field.
