Yard Team Member - FLT Driver

Shifts: Weekly rotation of 6 am - 3.30pm/ 8.30 am - 6pm

We now have a vacancy for two Yard Loaders to join our Sittingbourne site.
What's the mission?
The main duties of this role will be to load and off load vehicles safely and efficiently. From time to time you will be asked to carry out other site yard functions including general housekeeping, ensuring company policy is adhered to and driving best practice. You could at times be expected to cover some of the manufacturing duties.
The position will report to the Yard Team Leaders.
Monday to Friday. Your shift patterns will be 6am -3.30pm (Week 1) and 8.30 am - 6pm (Week 2)
What are the mission-critical skills?
* Minimum of 2 years FLT driving experience and an active Forklift Truck Licence (B1) is essential for this role
* Experiencing of working in areas where Workplace transport health and safety is practiced
* Experience of operating in a small/medium manufacturing operation
* Team player with attention to detail
* Good level of English, oral and written
* IOSH qualification is desirable
* Knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is advantageous
* Forward thinking individual continually looking at improving processes
* Due to the location of the site and minimal access by public transport own transport is desirable.
