Registered Manager

Up to £60,000 + bonus scheme
I am looking a Registered Manager to run a nursing and residential care home in a grade II listed, Edwardian home bursting with character in Northwich. Residents love the elegance and individual character of the bedrooms and living spaces and the stunning gardens. Inside, the home is decorated to respect the period facade, with an elegant sense of grandeur in each room. It combines communal and peaceful areas to suit residents’ needs. Residents can take in the green grounds from the lofty conservatory or enjoy a meal in the grand dining room.
In this role you will:
1. Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion and empathy
2. Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals who are committed to delivering person-centred care
3. Ensure that the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support
4. Manage the home’s budget, ensuring that financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed
5. Develop and implement a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders
6. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns
7. Have oversight of all records to ensure that the home’s administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
8. Continuously monitor and evaluate the home’s performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
9. Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring that the home is a safe and secure environment for residents and staff
For this great Registered Manager post you will need:
10. Previous experience managing a nursing/ residential home
11. A strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings
12. Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external professionals, families, and visitors
13. A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home
14. Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care
15. Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service
16. A nursing qualification would be a great asset
