Your Mission:
You will play a pivotal role in driving growth by supporting and developing our Industry distributor relationships. You will identify new business opportunities, enhance existing partnerships, and work collaboratively to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Distributor Support: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
2. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, translating insights into actionable strategies.
3. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales plans that align with business objectives and maximize distributor performance.
4. Training and Development: Provide support to distributors on product offerings, sales techniques, and marketing strategies to enhance their capabilities.
5. Performance Monitoring: Monitor distributor performance and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with company goals.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaising with the wider SE business, you will leverage your relationships within your accounts to identify opportunities to cross sell other Schneider Electric products and services, working closely with your colleagues in all business areas nationally.
7. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on distributor performance, market trends, and sales forecasts for management review.
8. Travelling appointment role - Eight customer interactions per week, 6F2F minimum (40% Customer facing time)
Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the industry sector. Minimum two years.
2. Strong understanding of distributor management and channel sales strategies.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform decision-making.
5. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving growth.
