Graduate HWO Project Engineer

The successful candidate will play a vital role in the growth of a motivated close-knit team.
The role:
Gaining hands-on experience is critical to any graduate role, and so you will initially be part of the field pool, spending six to twelve months working alongside the crews on operations throughout Europe. Following this, you will shadow one of WellGear’s Project Managers as you progress towards the role of Project Engineer.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Performing offshore site surveys
2. Setting up projects in terms of equipment, people, and operation
3. Working alongside clients to advise on operations
4. Overseeing yard rig ups
5. Procuring third-party equipment
6. Managing equipment design and/or modification
7. Procuring project equipment
8. Utilising our online Project ERP (equipment management system)
9. Working offshore
10. Travelling to sites in Europe
We’re looking for candidates who:
1. Have a practical hands-on approach
2. Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
3. Take pride in their work
4. Are computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
5. Are self-motivated and a strong team player
6. Can demonstrate a positive, “can-do” attitude
Knowledge of the following would be beneficial:
1. Hydraulic Workover, Snubbing, Coil Tubing, Pumping
2. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
3. Lifting Operations
Education:
A Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred but is not essential.
Rewards:

2. Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
