We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Clinical Practice Educator to join our growing team. If you are a registered (NMC and HCPC) professional with substantial experience in surgical scrub, anaesthetics, and/or recovery, we would love to hear from you. The post holder will need a strong work ethic, self-awareness, and the ability to recognize their limitations and areas for development. The right candidate should also be able to demonstrate significant involvement in supporting and training staff in clinical practice. Main duties of the job To maintain an effective educational environment through 'on the job' coaching and staff development in a variety of clinical settings, whilst working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to enable delivery of high quality effective care, thus improving the patients' experience To act as an expert practitioner, resource and role model; to encourage evidence based practice, providing support and supervision for all staff, including those on professional development courses To be responsible for the development of programmes of education and training; whilst demonstrating awareness of cultural and learning diversity in the workplace and the need to adapt training accordingly To collaborate with strategy development and be responsible for the achievement of educational targets.
