Location: Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging, FMRIB, John Radcliffe Hospital, Headington, Oxford, OX3 9DU The postholder will assist with an exciting set of experiments exploring diverse topics in brain anatomy, chemistry, and plasticity. In this role they will support postdoctoral fellows, DPhil students, and core staff in executing rodent brain imaging and behaviour experiments. Some of your responsibilities will include collaborating in the preparation of scientific reports and journal articles and occasionally present papers and posters, act as a source of information and advice to other members of the group on scientific protocols and experimental techniques and representing the research group at external meetings/seminars, either with other members of the group or alone. It is essential that you hold, or be close to completion of, an undergraduate or higher degree in neuroscience or a related field, have previous experience in working with rodents in a research setting and excellent communication skills. It is desirable that you have PIL ABC license for carrying out animal experiments in the UK, experience with preclinical MRI and experience with rodent behavioural testing.
