Position Title: Finance Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our finance team in the aviation industry. The Finance Executive will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting various financial functions within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of finance and accounting principles, along with a keen interest in the aviation sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor budget performance and support the development of forecasts and financial plans.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of supplier's invoices and billing of customers.
Maintain and monitor accounts for any discrepancies, following up on overdue payments.
3. Cost Control & Budgeting:
Assist in the development and management of the company's budget.
Support cost control initiatives and help identify opportunities for financial savings.
Track spending and compare against budget forecasts to ensure financial targets are met.
4. Financial Systems & Tools:
Maintain and update financial records in accounting software.
Assist in the implementation of financial systems and tools to streamline operations.
Perform regular system reconciliations and ensure data accuracy.
5. Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and management, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Provide financial advice and insights to senior management on projects, investments, and new business opportunities.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Access Financials, QuickBooks, or similar).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills are a plus.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £22,880.00-£24,000.00 per year
