Residential Service Manager - Complex Care & Mental Health
Salary: £38K per annum

Are you a passionate leader with extensive experience in mental health and complex care? We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and forward-thinking Service Manager to lead our clients' team and deliver exceptional care in their specialist residential service. This role is perfect for a driven manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to improving the lives of the people we support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential service, ensuring high standards of care are consistently maintained.
2. Provide strong leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
3. Upskill and train staff members to ensure they have the knowledge and confidence to provide outstanding care, particularly in mental health and complex care.
4. Develop person-centred care plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual, with a strong focus on promoting independence and improving quality of life.
5. Ensure full compliance with regulatory and organisational standards, including CQC requirements.
6. Act as a key point of contact for residents, their families, health care professionals, and external agencies.
7. Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring the service operates efficiently and cost-effectively.
What We're Looking For:
1. Significant experience in managing mental health services, with a solid background in providing care for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
2. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
3. Excellent knowledge of mental health legislation, safeguarding, and CQC regulations.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and a calm approach to managing challenging situations.
5. A compassionate, person-centred ethos that puts the needs and wellbeing of the service users first.
6. Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management or equivalent).
