We are currently looking for exceptional people to join our team and have a great opportunity for a Public Area Cleaner.
As a Public Area Cleaner, you will be expected to ensure the hotel public areas are cleaned and checked to the highest standards at all times, reporting any maintenance problems.
The ideal candidate would have some cleaning experience and have excellent attention to detail. Communication and organisational skills are key to ensure the excellent standards are met.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
* To clean public and back of house areas. Ensure all cleaning in the designated areas is carried out to the Company standards.
* To report any defects found in corridors or public areas to the supervisor or manager.
* Be able to deal with any reasonable requests from guests in a professional manner.
* To deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner while communicating with manager or supervisor to ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
* Working and cooperating with colleagues to enhance the guests' experience at all times.
* Follow and maintain Health and Safety standards.
* Be energy efficient within the department, turning off lights, equipment, etc., when not in use.
* Continually develop new knowledge and skills to ensure best practice service delivery.
Requirements of the role:
* Be self-motivated as you will on occasion be working alone to meet your productivity and standard targets.
* Flexible – to enjoy working different shift patterns and seeing the operation on different days of the week, including weekends.
* Be standards driven to meet the cleanliness levels required.
* Have good people skills – to greet guests that you see and to work well in a team.
