Facilities Manager - Build to Rent (new scheme) Location: London Salary: £65,000 Type: Full-Time, Permanent My client is a leading developer and manager in the Build to Rent sector. They specialise in creating vibrant communities tailored to modern living, offering high-quality rental homes with exceptional amenities and services. We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the facilities and maintenance management of a new Build to Rent (BTR) development, ensuring seamless mobilisation and ongoing site management. Key Responsibilities: Mobilisation of New Site: Oversee the mobilisation of the new BTR site, ensuring all aspects of facilities management are implemented smoothly and in line with company standards. Building Operations: Manage day-to-day facilities operations, including security, maintenance, cleaning, and landscaping services. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that the site complies with all relevant health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments. Contractor Management: Oversee and manage relationships with third-party contractors, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with contractual agreements. Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage and monitor the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective services without compromising on quality. Tenant Satisfaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing any concerns related to the building's facilities and ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction. Preventive Maintenance: Implement and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the long-term sustainability and value of the property. Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on site operations, financial performance, and any issues that arise. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in facilities management, ideally in a Build to Rent or r esidential property environment. Building Safety Act knowledge Plant Room experience Experience in the mobilisation of new developments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of building systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical). Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and building compliance requirements. Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and senior management.
