NHS Grampian Cancer Performance is recruiting a Regional Cancer Pathway Coordinator where the post holder will be responsible for providing support to multidisciplinary teams for Regional Gynaecology Services, primarily for ovarian cancer patient pathways across the North of Scotland. The post holder will also be responsible for the management of the Ovarian Cancer database which includes data processing, analysis, and reporting for audit purposes.
The post holder will participate in weekly MDT meetings with the provision of patients for discussion, recording, and storing sensitive information. The post holder must be a team player and provide, as required, support to MDT colleagues.
This is a unique, rewarding, and interesting role where the successful applicant will have previous supervisory and/or project coordinator skills; strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues; knowledge of cancer waiting times; and the ability to prioritize and escalate potential issues on the cancer pathway for patients to ensure that Scottish Government cancer waiting times are met.
