Job Title: Primary Teacher
Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in South Shields on a full-time, long-term basis starting September 2024. Applications from ECTs are welcome, with opportunities to complete part of the ECT qualification during the role.
The role involves planning and delivering lessons to full classes with support from Teaching Assistants. Key responsibilities include differentiating lessons to meet individual needs, working collaboratively with staff to ensure pupil progress, and managing behaviour positively and proactively. Building positive relationships with pupils and staff to create a conducive learning environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and teach engaging lessons that promote pupil progress.
2. Build positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants.

5. Use varied assessment methods to monitor progress.
6. Display enthusiasm, energy, and positivity in teaching.
7. Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to enhance educational experiences.
Requirements:
1. Enhanced DBS (preferably on the Update Service; we can assist with processing a new one if needed).
2. QTS and UK Primary Teaching experience.
3. Experience in short, medium, and long-term planning.
4. Ability to utilise various assessment methods.
5. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
6. Excellent relationship-building skills and rapport development.
7. Positive, resilient attitude towards teaching and work.
8. Passion for teaching and commitment to professional development.
9. Strong organisational and communication skills.
