The Role As a Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards across high-volume operations within the automotive sector. Your leadership, expertise in quality management systems (QMS), and experience with ISO9001 and IATF standards will be key in ensuring our client’s products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Manage Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of quality control and assurance processes in high-volume manufacturing operations. Leadership of a small dynamic quality team Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts, particularly in relation to Non-Conforming Products (NCP). Quality Management System (QMS) Leadership: Drive the implementation and maintenance of ISO9001, IATF, and ISO 14001 standards, ensuring the highest levels of quality are adhered to. Manage Relationships: Lead customer and supplier relationships, maintaining the highest quality standards and ensuring compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements. Audit and Compliance: Conduct site audits for systems, processes, and products, ensuring alignment with industry standards and internal quality expectations. Support NPI and APQP: Contribute to the creation and execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) strategies and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), including PPAP documentation. What We’re Looking For: Proven Quality Leadership: Extensive experience in a Quality Manager role, preferably in the automotive sector, with a focus on ISO 9001 and IATF compliance. Team Leadership: Strong experience in managing and motivating small teams to meet quality objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Engineering Expertise: Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to ensure products meet required standards. Quality Standards Knowledge: Deep understanding of ISO 9001, IATF, VDA 6.3 audit policies, and inspection techniques (including plastic mouldings). Health, Safety, and Environmental Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant health & safety and environmental procedures in the manufacturing sector. Strong IT Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) for effective communication and documentation.
