Are you a patient, caring and compassionate person wanting to make a difference in a home-from-home, family-feeling environment?
We currently have night carer opportunities for the right people. We are searching for reliable, kind and respectful care staff to join our friendly, supportive team of caring staff at Magnolia House in Sandown. With 39 residents it is a busy, fun and friendly place to work.
The role
This is a hands-on caring role where you will support people to live their lives in a meaningful way. You will care for them as if they were your own family; with respect and dignity, and ensure that their physical and emotional needs are recognised and met with warmth and affection. You will be supported to fulfil your training so that you are always up to date with the latest guidance; giving you confidence to know that you are caring for people, according to best practice and to the best of your ability.
In an ideal world, you will have an NVQ2 or above in Health and Social Care, experience of working with vulnerable people and an understanding of Dementia, however for the right kind of person we could support you to achieve this.
Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to provide sponsorship for overseas workers.
