An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Tutor to deliver outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment in line with the requirements of the Heavy Vehicle Curriculum at one of the UK’s largest providers of Apprenticeships and recruitment and training services to the automotive industry. There are positions available in Watford, Croxley Green and Daventry.

About the Role
As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing students with a safe learning environment from which outstanding teaching and practical skills training can be delivered and provide delegates with an appropriate environment within which to be trained and assessed and your responsibilities will include:
1. Maintain a consistently high standard of delivery, with support and guidance from colleagues and Quality Specialist
2. Conduct training and assessments of delegates across various levels and disciplines, providing support and objective, constructive feedback when required
3. Treat all customers in a fair and reasonable manner, ensuring any issues are identified and reported as appropriate
4. Provide administration of all training documentation completed as part of the training and skills assessments, meeting expected standards
5. Undergo observations, support standardisation meetings and continuous improvement plans
6. Support Colleagues to ensure the training schedule is delivered in the most efficient manner
7. Support the Development Manager in the development and review of new courses and assessments (as required), helping to drive quality and standardisation across all disciplines
8. Support the Curriculum manager’s role/duties relating to ISO quality standards
9. Attend meetings as required
10. Provide information to managers and external bodies as required
11. Keep up to date with the latest products and technologies as appropriate
12. Provide Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to learners

Desired Qualifications
21. Recent experience in an automotive workshop, ideally at Diagnostic/Master Technician level
22. Good standard of education, ideally with Certificate in Motor Studies and/or BTEC National Certificate in Engineering & Motor Vehicle Studies
23. Holding or working towards a delivery/assessment qualification
About the Rewards
For the role of Tutor, your working hours will be 9am – 5.30pm Mon - Fri and you will receive £32,000 per annum plus excellent benefits including 25 days annual leave (3 days set aside for Christmas shutdown).
