Information Resources Develop appropriate, robust, information systems to ensure that all documentation is stored and used effectively (dashboards, highlight reports, risk and issues logs etc). Develop a sound project/commissioning schedule that suitably identifies resources and outputs; applying appropriate principles to deliver stated objectives and deadlines. Research and Development Undertake research and development initiatives, delegating as appropriate. Plan, develop and evaluate methods and processes for gathering, analysing, interpreting and presenting data and information. Pro-actively identify service improvement needs and opportunities, by complex analysis of data/information, audits or surveys, and prioritise improvement activities. Freedom to Act The postholder is accountable and responsible for decisions made and can escalate any query at any time to the next senior level for authority or sign off. Postholder will use their own initiative within clear guidelines set out in SYICB policy, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and national guidance. Physical Effort The postholder will be mostly sitting, standing and walking daily as they undertake daily tasks including using the computer, producing reports etc. Mental Effort There will be a requirement for frequent concentration when completing tasks such as inputting and checking data, collating information for reports etc. however there will be conflicting priorities that arise which the postholder will have to manage day-to-day. Emotional Effort On occasion the postholder may experience dealing with emotive employee relations cases and other sensitive employee matters. On occasion the postholder may experience dealing with conflicting views across a wide range of stakeholders, where their role is to support collaboration and cohesion.
